Who is responsible

Tylers Ltd is responsible for personal data collected through this website. We are based at Block A, Michael Leal Avenue, Les Pailles, Mauritius. Tylers is registered with the Mauritius Data Protection Office.

For privacy enquiries, to contact our privacy officer or to exercise your rights, use our privacy request form or call +230 214 6700.

This notice covers this website and initial enquiries. Client engagements involving forensic evidence, incident response, training delivery or other services may require additional notices and contractual safeguards.

What we collect and why

Required form fields are needed to respond to your request. A phone number and attachments are optional. Please submit only information needed for the quotation; do not send passwords, identity documents, sensitive personal data or raw investigation evidence through this form. Contact us first to agree secure evidence handling.

Submitting a quote does not subscribe you to marketing. Pricing estimates are reviewed by our team; this website does not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

Who receives information

Authorised Tylers staff use the team workspace and Microsoft 365 email to handle enquiries. Microsoft Azure hosts the application, database, files and backups; the website infrastructure is located in South Africa. Microsoft 365 supports business email and staff authentication. Cloudflare provides Turnstile, and Google provides optional Analytics.

Clicking WhatsApp opens a separate service operated by WhatsApp/Meta. Messages you send there are subject to that service’s terms and privacy notice. WhatsApp is an optional contact channel; you can use our quote form, telephone or email instead.

Service providers may process data in other countries. Cross-border processing requires applicable contractual and legal safeguards; contact our privacy officer for information about the safeguards applicable to your data and how to obtain a copy where available. We may also disclose information where required by law or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

Provider information: Microsoft privacy · Cloudflare Turnstile privacy · Google privacy · WhatsApp privacy.

How long we keep information

Our retention policy for unsuccessful or abandoned quote requests and their uploaded documents is six months after the request is closed. Where a request becomes a client engagement, the applicable contract, accounting, legal and service-record requirements determine retention. Records needed for a dispute or legal obligation may be retained longer for that purpose.

Deletion must also account for email copies and backups. Backup copies may remain until their retention cycle expires and must not be returned to ordinary use after a deletion request. Contact us for the retention criteria that apply to your specific enquiry or engagement.

Cookies and analytics choices

Essential security and sign-in technologies support the site and workspace. We store your analytics choice in your browser for up to 180 days. Optional Google Analytics cookies are configured for up to 180 days without extending their expiry on each visit; Google’s account-level data retention is managed separately.

Analytics is off until you choose “Allow analytics”. “Decline analytics” leaves the website and quote form available. Use “Cookie preferences” at the bottom of the page to change your choice. Withdrawing consent stops future analytics on this browser and clears accessible Analytics cookies; it does not undo earlier lawful processing. Clearing your browser storage or changing browsers may require choosing again.

Your rights

Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you may request access to and a copy of your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time. These rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

Use our privacy request form, describing your request and the relevant enquiry. We may need proportionate information to verify your identity; do not email identity documents unless we have agreed a secure method. We handle requests within the time limits required by applicable law.

You may complain to the Mauritius Data Protection Office. Where GDPR applies, you may also complain to the competent supervisory authority in the EEA, including where you live or work. Contacting us first is optional.
